Awareness

Measures that promote awareness of issues related to tobacco use.

A New Mexico resolution (H.M. 43) acknowledges that the 2010 report released by the United States Surgeon General states that inhaling tobacco smoke can damage DNA, which can lead to cancer. See the additional summary of this resolution in the Tobacco Use/Smoke-Free Air topic.
