California A.B. 833 Requires the state Department of Health Services to place a priority on informing the public about women's gynecological cancers, and requires specified health care providers to give patients information about such cancers.
A.B. 1554 Establishes and appropriates $2 million to the state Cancer Research Fund and creates the state Cancer Research Council.
S.B. 273 Requires that state Cancer Research Fund monies be used for cancer research, and requires the state Department of Health Services to administer specified cancer research programs.
Illinois H.B. 452 Increases the state excise tax on cigarettes to 58 cents.
