California and Pennsylvania adopted resolutions relating to ovarian cancer. California's A.C.R. 127 recognized April 1998 as Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, and encourages Californians to increase their awareness of ovarian cancer and to educate themselves to early detection methods. Pennsylvania's resolution (H.R. 443) requests the state House of Representatives to memorialize the President of the United States and the U.S. Congress to enact the Ovarian Cancer Research and Information Amendments of 1997.
