Gynecologic Cancers - General

California enacted legislation that requires the state Department of Health Services to make informing the public about women's gynecological cancers a priority, if funding is available. The legislation also authorizes the Department to appoint a Women's Gynecological Cancer Information Advisory Council, and requires health care providers conducting gynecological examinations to give each patient a standardized summary describing the symptoms and methods of diagnoses for gynecological cancers.
